John Shaw Neilson was an Australian poet. He was built as you would expect, although his work saw him survive as a labourer, fruit-picker, and quarry worker. Eventually, he found himself working as a messenger with the Country Roads Board in Melbourne. Largely untrained and only basically educated, Neilson is now recognized as one of Australia's finest lyric poet.
This tribute website, is about Mr Neilson, and is dedicated to his tome "To a blue flower" about a Blue flower in the heart of September.
